Oversaw all areas operations specifically on budget, production, logistics, employee, and vendor relation. Managed and supported the Ford Production System, including pre-production material control, production planning, scheduling and releasing, supply chain management, and information technology and systems integration along with traffic and transportation logistics. Managed and handled operations of four areas in the department such as Truck Dock, Rail Dock, Trim/Chassis Department, and Synchronized Material Flow (SMF) Department. • Led and managed the Continuous Improvement Work Group training classes. • Supervised a staff of over 80 material handlers in a fast-paced organization, and ensured timely transportation of materials and processing of orders. • Instrumental in designing and implementing training programs and procedures in the area of the safety of employee. • Key member of a greenbelt project (returnable container) that resulted in transport savings of $1.2 million.
