Daily Duties at United Government Services, Llc:

Provided general Human Resources duties for multi-site healthcare regional offices Consulted with employees and assisted them with life insurance enrollment and participation. Performed benefit orientations and addressed all employee questions or concerns. Aided managers with performance appraisals, managed employee handbooks, files, and generated weekly reports to share with the Director of Human Resources. Received and addressed employee relations issues, including exit interviews, disciplinary actions, internal and external training, job descriptions, complaints/harassment charges and problem-solving meetings. Developed and implemented policies for regional offices (call centers) and conducted Human Resource presentations to Managers, Directors, and staff on a weekly basis. Arranged and coordinated in-house college fair days and increased participation and awareness for the Tuition Assistance Program. Accomplishments:  Enacted a recruiting strategy to attract new employees and increased employee retention by over 50% through a self initiated reconfigured compensation structure, better benefits and a rewards program.  Fostered a teamwork/open-door environment conducive to positive dialogue across the organization resulting in the company’s improved employee-retention rate of 98% where high turnover was the norm.  Improved Tuition Assistance Program by coordinating in-house college fair days.  Received Certificate of Appreciation for making Wisconsin Works (W-2) a success through recruiting.  Promoted from Employment Specialist to Human Resources Generalist within first 4 months onboard.
