Daily Duties at Wilton Industries:
• Developed plant performance and evaluation measures including expense, production, and efficiency trends through a Key Plant Indicator benchmarking report for executive management. • Direct liaison with internal and external auditors. • Monitored corporate insurance policies including annual renewals, identifying duplicate coverage, recommending enhancements, and processing all property, auto, crime, and product liability insurance claims. Resolved product liability consumer claims and reported high-risk workers compensation claims. Implemented safety bingo program to reward accident-free employees. • Prepared Board of Directors report packages, bank financial presentations, and other financial reports. • Managed the fleet of cargo and fleet needed for distribution activities. • Spearheaded development of new risk management database and trained 15 users. Efforts resulted in more accurate and efficient claims processing as well as producing risk management reports for executive management. • Functioned as financial liaison for all divisions. Responsibilities included performing analysis on actual versus budget and forecast, developing accurate P&L outlooks and meeting with divisional managers weekly to support their projects and initiatives. • Analyzed customer profitability which enabled sales staff to make better business deals surrounding promotions, deductions, and sales discounts by account.
