Daily Duties at Alion Science And Technology:
Serve as the Senior Technical Librarian for the Engineering and Information Technology Sector (EISS) supporting Project Management System-Extranet Sites (PMS-ES)-385, Support Joint High Speed Vessel (JHSV), Mobile Landing Platform (MLP), Egyptian Navy Fast Missile Craft (ENFMC) Large Medium Speed RO/RO (LMSR), Maritime Pre-Position Force (MPF), Auxiliary Dry Cargo Vessel (T-AKE) Programs by directly supporting the Certified Information Systems Security Professional/ Certified Information Security Manager/Program Manager by drafting technical documentation such as The EISS Disaster Recovery Plan, Incident Response Plan, Contingency Plans, and Network Administrator Desktop Procedures for the IT Department Tasked with leading and coordinating all efforts to ensure the Disaster Recovery site is fully functional Responsible for ensuring the Disaster Recovery site has all the appropriate documentation and inventory list at all times to ensure they are prepared for Recovery exercises and in the event of an actual Disaster in accordance with (IAW) the latest Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and Department of Defense (DoD) Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP)Guide lines. Tasked with maintaining a backup documentation binder for PMS-ES 385 of all the relevant Standard Operating Procedures Responsible for tracking, maintaining, cataloging and updating all the digital documentation housed on the local share drive pertaining to PME-ES system
