Daily Duties at Visa U.S.A.:
Researched and resolved authorization problems at the point-of-sale for merchant customers of member banks. Trained merchants on the proper use of POS terminals. Answered a high volume of calls (150-200 per day) in a call center environment. Promoted to POS Support Analyst. Resolved business and technical issues associated with merchant bankcard processing for member banks. Coordinated software and hardware implementations and upgrades for the same. Successfully managed wireless hardware implementation and software training for all vendors at the U.S. Olympic Festival held in San Antonio, Texas in July 1993. Trained bank personnel on new POS products and software. Acted as technical liaison between POS Services and VIP Reporting (the reporting department of the authorization network). Assisted member banks in researching and resolving all authorization reporting related issues.
