Daily Duties at Oakland Unified School District:

Performed the functions of a substitute teacher at one designated school site (Manzanita Elementary School). Managed classrooms for extended periods (up to six weeks) in the absence of a regular teacher. Developed lesson plans based on state standards and various student learning styles. Communicated student performance and needs to parents and administration. Attended in-house trainings, as required. Demonstrated Open Court literacy program to certificated teachers.
