Responsible for the management and operation of the Enterprise Systems IT Help Desk. • Provided effective customer-focused problem management and customer services which assured timely and cost-effective results. - Account Manager 1989 - 1994 Responsible for on-going Enterprise Systems Account Management activities for a major Hughes business unit. • Client advocate for quality and cost control initiatives. • Presented monthly cost reviews to the Group CIO and CFO leadership teams. • Organized and led Enterprise IT initiatives to reduce cost and improve service level performance. - Product Development Manager 1985 - 1989 Developed a platform for presenting the Hughes Software Engineering Environment (SE2) CASE tools and software engineering services to U.S. Government, foreign government, aerospace, commercial and internal Hughes customers. • Developed print and video collateral materials. • Developed display layouts and demonstration scenarios for Ada conferences, SE2 EXPO fairs and other national conference exhibits. - Supervisor Computer Operations 1981 - 1985 Managed the Software Engineering Division DEC VAX advanced minicomputer facility. • Managed a large DEC VAX distributed network that linked four sites and sixteen DEC VAX VMS systems. • Planned and implemented extensive computer facility expansion and system installation during a period of 1000% processing growth.
