Daily Duties at Hacienda Healthcare:
Handled all the financial accounting functions for 5 Hacienda HealthCare companies. Managed daily cash flows, reviewed all invoices prior to payment and arranged for additional credit facilities. Prepared and delivered financial statements and reports to inform management executives of their company’s financial situation. • Built and grew Hacienda HealthCare’s Accounting Department from the ground up, which involved hiring, training and supervising all staff members in addition to installing new accounting systems. • Separated Hacienda HealthCare into 5 individual companies, namely Hacienda Inc., Los Niños Hospital, Arizona Children’s Healthcare Corp., Children’s Angel Foundation and South Mountain Health Supply. • Successfully covered payroll disbursements after improving the cash flow of all 5 Hacienda HealthCare companies by reducing the amount of time needed to bill and collect payments for service. • Negotiated a 30-year fixed rate mortgage with the City of Phoenix to finance the build out of a 5-bedroom group home.
