Monitored available bank and cash balances as well as payment processing volumes on a daily basis to develop monthly transaction volume, revenue and cash projections. Reviewed balance sheet and income statement accounts to ensure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Implemented internal controls, ERP systems and standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with corporate policies and federal regulations. Led, trained and supervised a team consisting of an HR/Facilities coordinator and up to 3 accountants.
