Daily Duties at Gruma Corp:
Managed shipping and receiving including warehousing and inventory control. Dispatched loads, supervised drivers, set up truck routes, prepared shipping manifests, and handled customer inquiries and complaints. Eliminated excessive ordering, and liquidated obsolete parts and equipment inventories. Emphasized inventory control and product relocation to utilize space. Ensured compliance with DOT regulations. Ensured efficient operation for receiving imports, stock allocations, inventory controls, order picking and packing, and all aspects of shipping customer orders on a timely and cost effective basis. Ensured quality control standards were maintained. Ensured timely shipments to customers according to their specifications. Established competence in shipping and receiving, inventory control, and warehousing with an emphasis on attention to detail and cost savings.
