Daily Duties at Pacific Data Group:
Provided daily oversight managing two on site client application maintenance support projects. Independently advised IT services internal operations group. Key Achievements: ITS Project Division, 1998-1999 Developed organizational procedures and an automated workflow process for the Portland branch. Used an automated workflow tool to establish control guidelines and business processes. PacifiCorp, 1996 – 1998 Implemented an application maintenance program for PacifiCorp’s customer billing system. Cut monthly costs by $125K+ by resolving organizational problems, eliminating redundancies, stabilizing a chaotic application maintenance environment, and improving processes and organizational bandwidth to work more efficiently. Managed daily Customer Service and Billing (CSS) operations, designing a project methodology, developing the service level agreement (SLA), and coordinating with various levels of customer management. Ft. James / James River, 1995 - 1996 Managed the first outsourcing project for Pacific Data Group, including transitioning 15 employees while training new contractors in a legacy technology within 30 days. Led team to completely transition application and have it running smoothly in 90 days at a 20% reduction in cost, setting the stage for growing the Project Services organization.
