Daily Duties at Hhc 18th Airborne Corps :
Senior Engineer IT, Overall, managed and created the development and implementation of a Data Operations Center (E-5500’s, Ultra 60’s,Ultra 2’s and Ultra 1’s). Hand picked to direct multinational LAN activities during Bright Star 99 into Egypt, Western Cairo. Supporting Australian, British, Jordanian, Egyptian and American forces. Provided and directed technical assistance and guidance on Fort Bragg NT LAN. Installed, configured, upgraded and maintained NT Clients and Servers. Planned, procured and installed Sun Enterprise Creator 2’s, NT PDC and Clients for GCCS. Installed tactical network into JTF compound on Fort Bragg. This including Solaris servers, and NT clients. Along with managing my team, I also performed daily UNIX and NT System Administrator duties as necessary. Vast knowledge of phones, secure phones, Visual Briefing and Display Systems, audio video equipment, Video Tele-Conferencing, Defense Red Switch Network, and cabling. Knowledge of Automated Data Processing and IT solutions on various contract vehicles like the GCCS-J Contract, Government Services Administration and of applicable Service Level Agreements.
