Daily Duties at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals:

Responsible for managing and coordinating graphic design projects from concept through completion. Successful launched over 20 new products for Pfizer. Position requires a strong concept of design theory as well as production essentials. Responsibilities involve: • Development and graphic creation of all product components for labeling and packaging at Pfizer and third-party locations. • Ensuring that production schedules are adhered to, costs are contained, and work is performed in a manner that is effective and compliant with company policies and government regulations. • Working closely with Engineers, Labeling Specialists, and other Graphic Artists to ensure that packages are aesthetic, functional, and production feasible. • Using language stations to convert files for foreign markets. • Knowledge of various types of printing processes, materials, and types of final file delivery to support suppliers’ needs. • Reviewing and approving printer proofs. • Providing technical support and maintenance for state-of-the-art laser printers, plotters, scanners, and servers.
