Daily Duties at Dmc Prints:

Extensive component-level troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and monitoring of servers and workstations as well as proprietary applications. Responsible for upgrades, installs and troubleshooting network, networking hardware devices and software. Maintained inventory of equipment and parts as well as documentation of vendor activities. Supported SAP servers which developed document system standards for computer and network devices. Created user accounts and set security standards. Recommended and scheduled repairs to the LAN/WAN. Purchased all computer hardware/software (Annual Budget $30k). Networked and supported a staff of 20+ users. Managed workstations, servers, printers, hubs, and switches as well as provided all desktop support for users. Maintained, built, and repaired desktop computer systems, servers and storage subsystems to improve speed, reliability and efficiency of operation. Participated in quarterly over-seas technical reviews to strengthen communications. Drafted and implemented techniques and procedures to provide quality customer service, as well as more efficient pc and network troubleshooting.
