Daily Duties at Iron Logix, Inc. (Formerly Accounting Systems Inc.), :

First point of contact for contracted clientele experiencing technical issues in various areas, such as hardware, software, network utilization and telephony. First-call diagnostics and resolution with limited escalation goals utilizing both remote assistance and On-Phone technical skill sets. Create and maintain detailed service tickets within Connectwise® PSA Software. Support OS and applications such as Windows XP – Windows 7, Microsoft Office Manage workstations, servers, printers, hubs, switches as well as provide all desktop support for users. Manage email, anti-spam and virus protection. Responsible for building and configuring new workstations and servers as needed. Install and manage Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008 operating systems. Monitor servers using application, system, and security logs. Develop and update server maintenance plans, both written and automated. Create user accounts and passwords, ensuring minimum security requirements are met. Perform hardware and software upgrade as needed. Evaluate operations procedures, recommended enhancements, and adjusted requirements as needed. Create quotes and invoices for client-purchases of hardware and software while determining optimal company ROI opportunities. Follow up with clients to confirm issue resolution satisfaction and performance ratings. Draft and implement techniques and procedures to provide quality customer service, as well as more efficient pc and network troubleshooting. Act as dispatcher for additional support staff. Follow up with clients to confirm issue resolution satisfaction and performance ratings. Plan, coordinate and direct telephony projects.
