Daily Duties at Abn Amro Private Bank :

• Processing of trades approximately 84-96 per day • Approx 50 dividend and 33 coupons • Assisting with the settlement of trades using the system Olympic, and settling over Euro clear • Crest- Trades are settled via swift MT541 and MT543 receive or deliver against payment • Corporate Actions; DRIP, Tender Offer, exchange, Bonus/ Rights Issues, Split, Reverse Split, Merger, name change, ISIN change, Denomination • Assisting with Dividend/ Trades/ Corporate Actions inquiries; Investigate any discrepancies that may arise form a corporate action, trade, dividend, coupon payment, for example why a client was taxed at a certain rate or why is a coupon payment delayed or perhaps the relationship manager can not fully understand the full scope of a Corporate Action, (reverse split – what will the client receive at the end of the Corporate Event.) These inquiries are investigating or explained • Providing assistance to Relationship Managers with all inquiries: provide them with reasons why trade may be failing, why transfer is delayed or what information is need for client to transfer shares or subscribe onto a fund. Etc • Stock Reconciliation • Cash Reconciliation • Stock Transfers • QIA Reconciliation - US Tax Each month a report is received for our custodian advising of all dividends/coupons paid to clients based on their tax status 30%, 15%, and 0%. This is reconciled with what was processed over the bank’s system OLYMPIC, discrepancies are investigated and Necessary amendment is made; the relationship manager is kept informed at all times. Paperwork is filed away until March of each year when the QIA forms are received, completed and returned to the IRS • Assist with month end valuations – Using the system TRIPLE A, valuations are printed and collated, figures are double-checked for any discrepancies. Discrepancies are investigated and Relationship managers are informed or asked to sign off before binding valuations and posting to clients • Assist with Discretionary Managed Clients trades and inquiries what fees are applied to certain trades or transfers etc. What is the client’s instruction on a Corporate Actions etc • General support to both the Jersey/ Luxembourg/ London team: Assist London to find broker to trade a certain product and help Luxembourg with obtain contract notes or inquiry about any discrepancies such as commissions or failing trades etc • Fund administration: – Prepare subscription / redemption documents, all documents to be checked by RISK Department, once approved, documents are forwarded to Fund Manager, along with payment via MT202 or debited directly from Nostro account. Documents are then diarised to be processed on value date
