➢ As MEP Quality Control Inspector for a secure facility containing ~60K square feet of data center, inspected subcontracted work against code requirements, client expectations, and industry-acceptable workmanship standards to ensure that a quality product is delivered to the customer at completion. Witnessed stress & performance testing of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and conveyance systems, as well as demonstrations of proper operation of food service equipment. ➢ As Lead MEP Office Engineer, provided oversight and instruction to two other office engineers involved with the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) trades, while acting as the prime contractor’s direct representative for all matters pertaining to the electrical and food service equipment subcontractors. ➢ Reviewed and approved electrical, mechanical, and food service submittals and RFIs. ➢ Processed subcontractor change orders. ➢ Inspected installed work on mechanical, electrical, fire protection, conveyance systems, dock equipment, and food service equipment. ➢ Supervised startup of mechanical systems in support of testing & balancing and building commissioning. ➢ Performed technical writing for a number of best-value proposals. ➢ Chosen as an informal technical consultant for evaluating new software applications for their possible benefit and implementation with the organization, and providing training to the district. ➢ Created and maintained numerous project schedules in Primavera Project Planner v3.1 (P3), and provided technical support to colleagues on how to do the same.
