Daily Duties at Wtol Tv:
Produced and present local and regional weather forecasts as an on-air broadcast meteorologist. Began this position working weekend newscasts and was quickly integrated into all other newscasts periodically for vacation and fill-in work. This required me to demonstrate the ability to interact with several different on-air teams, with different levels of experience and on-air dynamics, as well as being able to adapt to significantly different show format and production requirements. Was later promoted to anchor the stations' first prime-time 5PM newscast. These roles also required frequent live broadcasts from outside the television studio at local events, where I developed my sills for "thinking on my feet" and being able to adapt quickly - while appearing comfortable - in an unknown environment. This position provided a solid education in broadcast meteorology - while I was completing my Master's degree 55 miles away during the same period.
