Daily Duties at Interval Liesure Group:
Roles cover two distinct areas: Information Technology Application Services Specialist and also Business Continuity/Forecast Specialist during Hurricane Season and other severe weather events. In the latter role, I prepare weather graphics and reports as needed for two business continuity teams. This also includes making presentations to those teams - including senior level executives - upon which significant business and financial decisions are made. This portion of my role frequent extends beyond the business day and I am well known for providing updated information around-the-clock as needed. Occasionally provide updates during other short-fuse severe weather events that may lead to business disruptions. Originally entered the Company as a Web Designer. Moved to a new role within the IT department to integrate new technologies into the company, including highly analytical work, business process design, and business process automation. This portion of my role continues year-round, as there is no distinct role defined solely for a Corporate Meteorologist within the Company.
