Daily Duties at Medical University Of Sc:
I recieved the charges from Pyxis (Supply Management) and searched for the patients so that tyhe items could be billed out to insurance company for reimbursement. The hospital had 800 + rooms and all shifts were routed to me for location of expenses. I did spreadsheets at the end of the month and statistics on the amount of recoverable charges for the hospital. The amount found on a given month was 150,000 or more.
