Daily Duties at Palestine Regional Medical Center:

Assessments, staffing, training new employees, planning with patients and families, implementation provide direct nursing care based on the plan of care and established priorities. Promote safety on the unit, evaluate and documents the patient and family response to nursing interventions and effectiveness of the care plan. Performance Improvement tracking for the unit, continuously monitors tension level of unit milieu and takes charge of the situation, Intakes, discharges, admits, monitoring both medical and psychological needs. Use observational and interviewing skills to perform a priority patient assessment every shift. in conjunction with all other disciplines assessess all data obtained in patient care to facilate patients recovery. Injections, draw blood, medications, monitor psych emergencies and medical emergencies
