Daily Duties at Decrane Aircraft Co.:

Modified Boeing Business Jets both 737-700’s and 737-800’s for large structural assemblies and long range fuel conversion mods per Boeing specs and Decrane Manufacturing Processes. Drilled, reamed and installed: tension/sheer fasteners and helio coils to close tolerance specifications. Modified stringers, ribs and floor beams to uphold the weight exerted on the existing structures. Fabricated doublers, angles and clips for installation to framework and heavy structure assemblies. Relied heavily on blue print interpretation and fabricated jigs/templates to maintain highly critical tolerances. Fabricated large Gil Liner panels to close off underlying structures once structural modifications were completed and blocks, rails and fuel tanks were installed. Also assisted avionics technicians by fabrication structural modifications to breaker panels and instrument panels.
