Daily Duties at Equitable Insurance Company:
• Expanded the capacity of the Issue Processing System, which enabled the firm to increase premium revenue by offering add-on products to Life Insurance policies. • Translated actuarial specifications for business users, as well as for application developers during crucial points of integration testing which ensured continuing functionality as new system features were added. Programmer (1987 – 1990) • Merged Equitable of Colorado Batch System (WANG) into Equitable’s CAPS System for policies with face value over $10M. Ensured that premium data matched to the exact penny by leveraging FORTRAN language. • Built enhancements to the CAPS system which enabled Equitable to offer more cost effective benefit options to Survivorship Whole Life Insurance policy holders.
