Daily Duties at Rigaku Americas Corporation:
• Successfully provided in house customer demos for different Rigaku software packages (d*TREK, CrystalClear, JDirector, Structure Studio, SampleTrak ...), and X-ray instruments (different generators, detectors, optics, goniometers, ...), and automation robot: ACTOR. As part of the demos Successfully collected data and prepared reports and sent to the customer. Many of these demos ended up in sale and profit for the company. • Provided after sales on-site customer training on Rigaku software and instruments. Trainees were faculties, postdocs or graduate students in the institute. • Successfully accomplished Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) data collections: collected high quality data in-house before shipment of the Rigaku detectors to quality assure the detector. • Helped the software group to develop the d*TREK, CrystalClear and Structure Studio data collection and data processing software packages by continuously testing different software packages on different instruments and reporting bugs and suggesting enhancements. • Helped the ACTOR team in continuously developing the ACTOR design and testing the system and reporting enhancement ideas and reflecting customer feedback after training trips.
