Daily Duties at Rocor Transportation:

Managed day-to-day operations of a 24/7 diesel truck and refrigeration system maintenance operation. Collaborated with the operations and safety teams to monitor, manage and continually improve maintenance facility productivity. Recruited, hired, and trained all new personnel; created and implemented training programs for mechanics and other maintenance employees. Transformed a start-up maintenance facility from a 4-person shop to a full-service maintenance operation with 26 certified technicians to handle a broad range of diesel and refrigeration issues. Prepared and administered a $3.5 million annual operating budget; oversaw parts, supplies, and equipment procurement and maintained relationships with important vendors. Created and maintained a service-oriented culture to ensure accountability for safety, risk compliance, cleanliness, organization, project management, and continuous improvement.
