Charged with ensuring customer satisfaction and retention through the direction of shop staff in the performance of quality vehicle repair and maintenance services for a franchised truck service and repair operation. Control costs through such activities as inventory and asset management, controlling outside purchases, implementing preventative maintenance programs for shop equipment, ensuring that quality service work is performed within environmental and safety procedures. Maximized shop profitability by capitalizing on new business opportunities; controlling operating expenses; and safeguarding property, equipment, and merchandise. Achieved cost savings across the shop by turning in excess repair parts and designing streamlined processes to improve productivity, efficiency, and compliance standards. Trained and supervised a team of 35 maintenance personnel, providing the technical knowledge and leadership to ensure the team consistently exceeded quality, safety, and service standards.
