Daily Duties at Coventry Health Care:
Verifying cost center information and approvals on invoices to ensure payment of these invoices by the Accounts Payable Department. Answered emails and calls from other Coventry Locations and vendors regarding the payment status of invoices. Running queries and reports in People Soft to verify payment status. Processed and posted journal entries in People Soft for accruals at month end close and year end close. Maintained and updated an excel spread sheet to track monthly accruals and to ensure that all prior month accruals were processed.
