Daily Duties at Evolving Systems:

Project manager for all voice and data systems for local, national, and international IT business operations. Managed network engineers, PC administrators, and internal support (help desk) staff totaling eight persons at peak; oversight of all internal/external data security (Cisco, Firewall One) budget planning and tracking for all carrier and service contracts, training and staffing; facility design and construction on local and national level (six builds), ranging in size from 2500 to 16,000 sq feet and four story distribution. I coordinated services with Qwest, MCI, AT&T, Global Crossing, Bell South, and other local/remote carriers. Design and build of Cisco VoIP network using frame relay for remote office voice, data, and video; management and review of all corporate telecomm service invoices prior to payment; design and installation of Avaya G3R PBX (10,000 lines) and Intuity Audix voice mail; design and implementation of voice and data services for software development in Bangalore India; internal support for servers (over 150) running Unix for software development; administration of T1 over DS3 services and distribution to remote offices and clients; administration of systems for toll fraud detection and department tracking/billing; central contact for facility issues with leasing agent concerning data related HVAC and power issues; responsible for corporate disaster recovery planning and SOX compliance specifically for IT services; negotiated and managed external conferencing and video services; managed all local and long distance services for national facilities; C level presentations for service budget proposals
