Daily Duties at Global Intelligence Corp.:

Responsible for all design, implementation, and operation of local, national, and international business operations for voice, data, video, facility, and security. This included facility design and build out for corporate; vendor RFPs; contract negotiation and management; contract labor management; budget planning and tracking; phone system design and implementation (Avaya) hybrid digital and VoIP; data center design and implementation using Cisco routers and security solutions; design of computer center using Terradata running IBM DB2; specification and implementation of Cisco wireless data network; design of fiber to desktop and fiber facility core for grid computing environment; implementation of facility fire and security systems; design and implementation of video network utilizing twenty four 42’ plasma screens; design of satellite feed from U.S. corporate to South America for voice, data and video utilizing Inmarsat (satellite), AT&T, and local service providers. I managed a team of IBM contractors aiding in system implementation; designed facility carrier distribution with LECS and CLECS; coordinated efforts for disaster recovery and business continuity planning at primary and secondary facility. I personally inspected and evaluated facilities throughout Ecuador for access, facility design, upgrades, and possible purchase.
