Daily Duties at Teligent Communications:
• Functioned as Team-lead for a team of 4 engineers on the day shift • Troubleshot T1, DS3, OC circuits, OC lines, and wireless circuits • Documented customer reported issues and troubleshooting solutions in Remedy trouble ticketing system • Troubleshot proxy server, firewall and NAT (Network Address Translation) issues. • Troubleshot Domain Name Service problems and created new zone files and modified existing zone files • Interfaced with customer LAN/WAN administrators to assist in setting up various LAN configurations for internet access & router configurations • Reported on test results of stress pattern tests, confirmed cross connects, mutiplexor sync statistics, HSSI configurations and status, etc. from the Samsung ATM Switch • Troubleshot routing and switching related problems • Performed looped back tests • Configured and Troubleshot frame-relay related issues • Configured PVC • Performed network monitoring for circuits.
