Daily Duties at Ici Paints Corporation / Glidden Puerto Rico:
Managed the daily operation of Human Resources for ICI Paints Puerto Rico and the (41) Glidden Paints Stores in Puerto Rico and St. Croix, distribution warehouse and manufacturing plant; representative of the Glidden, Superior, Ralph Laurent, Reliance, Banner & Devoe brands respectively. Served as a Strategic Business Partner & Corporate Affairs Officer for the organization. Implemented the core HR strategies and initiatives such as; People Performance Reviews, Rewards & Recognition Program, Loss Prevention Audit and Investigations and others. Developed and implemented a strategic staffing plan for the Puerto Rico operations. Managed and measured cost containment/incentive programs, optimizing profitability. Provided training for key customers on HR policies, practices and systems achieving self-sufficiency and sharing accountability. Developed an exceptional track record of incidents resolution with the manufacturing plant union employees and negotiated very effectively a new collective bargaining agreement. Prepared and managed the HR annual budget.
