Daily Duties at At&T Telecom:
• Performed maintenance documents to prepare for maintenance on various equipments • Performed maintenance on devices such as switches, routers, terminal servers and computers • Prepared changed control business documents to inform senior management of proposed network changes to the network • Interfaced with AT&T Telecom personnel to address telecommunication issues with phones, routers and switches • Conducted and organized team conference call meeting regarding team goals and objectives • Served as the Security Engineer and Senior Network Engineer. • Utilized Checkpoint and Cisco PIX firewall as the security technology and appliances. • Configured ASAs and PIX firewalls for security and VPN connections • Configured IPSEC • Instrumental in the implementation of the VOIP pilot program. • Installed, troubleshot and implemented layer 2 and layer 3 devices and protocols. Devices included 2900, 3600, 4000, 6500, VPN concentrators. • Configured the following protocols:, OSPF, BGP, HSRP, RSPAN,, EIGRP, VPN, Spanning tree. Frame-relay, PPP etc. • Configure modems and terminal services. • Performed security vulnerability assessments on servers, routers and switches. • Instrumental in assisting in the development of NOC Lab. • Installed Cisco 4500, 6500, 3500 • Performed maintenance on various Cisco devices.
