Daily Duties at Rockwell International:

As Design Manager /Project Manager for facilities, controls, central plant, HVAC systems for the clean room, and all utilities support systems including a large, utility class electrical substation. Negotiated long term, site support contracts for all utility services. I managed multiple projects ranging from $5M to $50M. During construction of a large semiconductor manufacturing, served on joint Sematech and EPRI Council on Power Quality for the Semiconductor Industry. As an O&M Manager for the new plant and an existing plant, improved equipment tolerance to poor power quality resulting in a $300k/year savings in lost production capability. Implemented O&M risk management program reducing downtime and associated lost production by 50% and resulting in a savings of $350k/year. As Lead Engineer on design of several projects and several proposal teams for site services contracts at government facilities including the successful privatization of Newark Air Force Base and O&M of a Government Agency Headquarter near Washington DC. As the Site Engineer and as Engineering Technical Support Manager at a large overseas site, I managed and designed power production controls and electrical distribution systems. I managed engineering design support services, information systems and technologies, security systems, control systems, technical training, documentation control and all maintenance scheduling. Responsible for developing project proposals for base improvements, facility and maintenance audits, space planning for a large government data center in a highly secure, overseas environment.
