Daily Duties at Defense Protective Service:

Management, planning, and oversight of the Operational goals of the Defense Protective Service achieved through effective use of human resources, security technology, and proactive planning in combating current and possible future threats which may jeopardize the DoD mission; Create an environment of professionalism in which motivation and commitment are the norm. Develop contingency plans which counter the most catastrophic events such as civil disobedience, WMD event, or a mass casualty situation; Incorporation of those entities from within DoD and other agencies into response planning to include determining areas of responsibility, resource available, types of support, and consequence management; Maintain a high level of law enforcement and security services balanced with a commitment to customer service; Evaluate response capabilities and make necessary modifications to ensure optimum service delivery to the community; Created an environment which embraces the core values of the agency.
