Daily Duties at Baker Distribution:

- Delivery coordinator – Responsible for scheduling deliveries and making sure the deliveries happen accurately and efficiently. I was also responsible for vehicle maintenance. We operated with two trucks on the road. - Special ordering - Quote process consisted of submitting quotes to vendors – phone-email a finally a fax. Contact the customer with a quote. If all is good I create and issue a purchase order(s), contact the vendor, acquire material which is followed by a phone call. - Shipping/receiving - accepting material into inventory, packaging material to be shipped out, preparing bill of lading (BOL), loading/unloading of merchandise and weekly cycle counts. Fork Lift certified.
