Daily Duties at Honeywell International:
Provided technical support to Supplier Transitions Team, and the selected supplier, to ensure successful transition project implementation. *Identified part family rationalizing opportunities to optimize the global supply base and supplier reduction, to improve supplier quality and costs. Successfully identified $700K annual cost savings opportunity in 2009. *Led technical support for transition teams and suppliers, in domestic and Emerging Market Regions, including manufacturing, process, spec, and blueprint producibility related problems. *Conducted Manufacturing Capability assessment of potential suppliers. *Conducted Capacity Modeling of potential suppliers to identify bottle necks and areas of improvement. *Created bottoms-up cost targets for transitioning parts. *Assisted the selected supplier in implementing lean practices and principles while they are transitioning parts into their facility.
