Daily Duties at Avon Products:
Managed the full life cycle of multiple global programs and projects. Oversaw the maintenance, configuration and support of global content management systems and processes. Supervised local and international teams consisting of employees and consultants. Prepared detailed project plans based on Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology. Interfaced with matrix management team in coordinating project resource allocation. Collaborated with development teams in design, development and configuration of application architecture. Built and managed relationships with product and service vendors. Managed project budgets. Delivered regular reports to Executive Committee on status of technical infrastructure and applications. Delivered training sessions to global business users and developed training materials. I started as the lone developer for Avon's global content management system (Interwoven Teamsite). I was quickly promoted into a management role and built a team to work on the CMS along with other projects, detailed below.
