Promoted from Jr. Trust Accountant to Sr. Trust Accountant in Apr 2004 Supervised Jr. Trust Accountant Prepared and analyzed monthly internal financial reports for budget preparation Performed daily, monthly and annual investment and cash reconciliations Successfully processed month-end, quarter-end and year-end close in a timely manner Ensured adequate funding for client distributions, created income projection tools for trust administrators Provided assistance and guidance to trust services team concerning accurate income and principal accounting of funds Monitored, tracked and reviewed assets, obligations and expenditures to ensure proper reporting to individual accounts Processed accounts payable and account receivable for trusts, with unlimited approval authority Developed new accounting procedures to improve work flow and implemented new software in SunGard accounting system used to accurately report month-end trust cash interest
