Daily Duties at Trader Joe's :
Assisted in management of a high volume store (300k to 400k weekly) serving a highly demanding community. Staff of 35 in a 15,000 sq ft building Trained all employees to company standards incorporating the “Fish” philosophy”. Wrote store standards for departments to increase productivity and decrease injuries. Created a training program for all new employees as well as seasoned ones. Monitored perishable orders to decrease spoils to 2.5%. Developed an “Above and Beyond” review board to recognize outstanding acts by all employees.
