Daily Duties at Superior Hardwoods:

Maintenance and operation of 8 computerized dry kilns as well as 4 Dehumidification Kilns, Operation and maintenance of 3 Fire Tube Boilers (2 Propane and 1 Woodwaste); Chemical and softener testing on a daily basis; Organization of concentration yard, “kiln charges”; supervision of laborers; small sales and resolving lumber claims due to drying deficiency. Working knowledge of compressors, pumps and electrical. Safety Director (3 year duration): Responsible for training of personnel regarding on the job personal safety. Organized training sessions for personnel. Responsible for reporting and correction of any safety violations. Responsible for the processing and completion of Workman’s Comp Claims.
