Daily Duties at Verigy (Agilent):

• Created product regulations strategies and ensured top management is highly aware of the organization’s progress on resolving product safety events, driving accountability throughout the company. • Deployed company quality and regulations policies and led successfully product design and qualification testing projects throughout product safety, EMC, RoHS and other environmental reliability regulations. • Reviewed and approved quality checkpoints within product lifecycle to ensure safety and regulatory compliance of products and components were strictly met. • Consulted for R&D and Procurement, Marketing as well as other entities on regulatory education, training, and process guidance regarding safety, EMC, and environmental reliability. • Successfully developed and qualified external testing service suppliers, negotiated the service price, strictly mastered schedule and conducted contract administration; ensured testing service met company standards. • Evaluated all engineering change orders to assess impact on regulatory i.e. safety, and environmental issues. • Developed and implemented supplier processes and performance metrics to track periodically and manage delivery performance and technology capabilities. • Established and fostered an environment of continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma tools) that supported quality systems and goals across company supply chain. • Played key role in facilitating a production line transfer from Germany to China and product localization projects that included sourcing and qualifying new suppliers. • Deployed company quality and regulations policies and led successfully product design and qualification testing projects throughout product safety, EMC, RoHS and other environmental reliability regulations. • Reviewed and approved quality checkpoints within product lifecycle to ensure safety and regulatory compliance of products and components were strictly met. • Consulted for R&D and Procurement, Marketing as well as other entities on regulatory education, training, and process guidance regarding safety, EMC, and environmental reliability. • Successfully developed and qualified external testing service suppliers, negotiated the service price, strictly mastered schedule and conducted contract administration; ensured testing service met company standards. • Evaluated all engineering change orders to assess impact on regulatory i.e. safety, and environmental issues. • Developed, evaluated, and monitored external testing labs to ensure company requirements (product compliance and reliability standards) were consistently and correctly applied. • Developed and implemented supplier processes and performance metrics (machining parts, sheet metal parts, plastic parts, and packages) to track periodically and manage delivery performance and technology capabilities. • Established and fostered an environment of continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma tools) that supported quality systems and goals across company supply chain. • Played key role in facilitating a production line transfer from Germany to China and product localization projects that included sourcing and qualifying new suppliers.
