Led a team of IT staff which designed and implemented the company’s first TCP/IP and Microsoft Windows local and wide area network across ten locations in the US and Mexico. · Researched and purchased windows based server hardware (Raid 5), tape backup units. · Worked with consultants to purchase routers and other network components. · Worked with communication vendors to have T1 and 256k circuits installed for WAN. · Interviewed and hired IT staff. Managed a team of six network and PC support members.
