Daily Duties at Gannett Fleming Corddry & Carpenter:
Hired as one of two project engineers to do FIS detailed studies in 61 communities on PA. Immediately became senior project engineer. Setup a critical path of the tasks necessary to complete the initial flood insurance studies. HUD, Washington, DC, reviewed the tasks and many were used in the FIS progress reporting procedures. In the revised the HUD Guidelines and Specifications, one of the community’s in Pennsylvania was used as an example.
