Promoted with simultaneous responsibilities for day to day business functions and book of business sales, maintenance and growth (for Columbus and Indiana offices); accountable for profit and loss performance of property and casualty group within Columbus office; scope of responsibilities included budgeting and expense control, vendor relationships and payables, staff (20) hiring and development, and relationship building, response and resolution of client issues and concerns. Originally brought in as executive liability resource and focused contributions on purchase of directors and officers, employment practices, and fiduciary lines of insurance; maintained renewal process, reviewed business plan, financials and documentation, and negotiated coverage with underwriters; functioned as client advocate responding to claims and advocating favorable settlements with insurance companies.
