Daily Duties at Smurfit Stone Container:
Routine Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, Break down repair, and troubleshooting. Daily tasks included: Scheduling preventive maintenance with production supervisors. Assign work according to the work order system. Purchase parts needed for the repair. Had responsibility of 6 mechanics and 2 trainees. On a routine basis I conducted safety training and instruction for the trainees. Made parts for the older machines that could not be obtained from the OEM. Tolerances to .0005, installation, rebuild and design. PLC troubleshooting and maintenance. Electrical repairs and troubleshooting.
