Daily Duties at Lexis Nexis:

-Reviewed Business Requirements document, Functional Requirements document, Use Case Documents and Design Specifications document. -Attended requirements review meetings, developed test plans, test cases. -Attended formal review meeting and technical review meeting for reviewing the test cases. -Used Quality Center for writing the test cases, executing the test cases and logging the defects. -Updated the existing test cases as per enhancements, executed the test cases, compared the actual results with the expected results. -Identified the defects, logged the defects and assigned them to Project Managers. -Performed Smoke testing, Functional testing, Integration testing, Regression testing and Backend testing. -Attended defect assessment meetings with the developers, QA Lead and other team members to resolve the issues. -Reported the testing activities to QA Lead on weekly basis. -Used SOAPUI for Web Services testing. -Used QTP for functional testing and regression testing. -Tested the applications in IDE, QA, Staging and Production environments.
