Daily Duties at Sigma Diagnostics:
Systems Scientist (2000 - 2002) Responsible for reagent application development and troubleshooting internally and through external customer base by analyzing calibration, QC and correlation data. Supervision of lab staff to accomplish data collection, hiring and evaluation of permanent and temporary staff. Traveled internationally, for pre-sales evaluation of instrumentation, and domestically for reagent development in cooperation with other industry leaders. Performed analyzer evaluation for potential use in development of chemistry and coagulation reagents. Wrote and negotiated contracts and protocols for work performed by external customers. Analyzed and compiled data for presentation to FDA. • Member of team that developed and reviewed release of new internal and OEM products. Technical Service Representative (1995 - 2000) Responsible for troubleshooting and customer service for chemistry and coagulation reagents, calibrations and controls on various instruments, on-site conversions, and customer training for use of products and analyzers. Provided expertise on usage of 41 chemistry and coagulation manual and automated analyzers. Used and interpreted QC program for assisting customers with issues concerning both reagent and instrument performance. • Traveled for specialized training in the use of analyzers for the purpose of training customers.
