Daily Duties at Medlab Terre Haute:
Contract position as manager for Chemistry Department of Med Lab core laboratory in Terre Haute facility, located in Union Hospital. Oversight of all chemistry testing performed in-house and assistance with off-site; including routine and STAT testing, electrophoresis, special chemistry, and toxicology. Duties included supervision and scheduling of staff, writing and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures and instrumentation, monitoring of Quality Control, inventory, assistance with budget, review for compliance, proficiency testing and inspections of department by internal and external groups, training and competency of staff and students.
