Daily Duties at Ciber Inc:

• Designed, developed, tested and installed application programs in a batch environment as well as in a CICS transactional environment to aid in increasing efficient client recordkeeping by Customer Service Representatives. • Developed the use of DB2 Stored Procedure programs to access legacy CICS programs from a Web Service thus enabling a front end user interface to access various data stored in Lagacy Databases. • Maintained version control of Pitney Bowse's Finalist application. • Learned and used the “ChangeMan” Change Management System, a software versioning tool, and “Peregrin Service Center” for change and service request control. • Worked with the Pitney Bowes’ Group1 software to maintain the service release installations. • Created and executed Test Scripts to verify quality and correctness of Package tracking Application. These scripts test data as it communicated across several platforms until it was registered on the Electronic Data Warehouse. • Performed data mining and analysis to create basis for creating testing senarios. • Created and maintained a document using dynamic SQL that compared the application database and the reporting database. The use of this document saved many hours of development time by ensuring that the information entered at the POS flowed through the system until it reached the final data repository.
