Daily Duties at Hertz Corporation:
Responsible for many different systems in an IBM Mainframe environment. Primarily using COBOL and DB2. Wrote webpages to collect bids from vendors using HTML and Javascript. Experience automating file transfers in the mainframe environment using FTP and Connect Direct. Some use of CICS. Limited use of IDMS and Easytreive Plus. Frequently helped co-workers write JCL. Often assisted colleagues write COBOL code in order to perform complex tasks.
